This body of work was based on senses and how they can be easily tricked. The images of perfume advertising we see every day are immaculately presented with flowers or diamonds that represent the smell of the product. I wanted to contrast this popular method and introduce objects that would confuse the senses for example fish or rotten fruit. Although in each diptych the product is the same it is viewed differently because of what it is connected to.

I wanted this work to challenge the typical conventions of advertising photography and create something more interesting than just a pretty picture.
