Through my documentary film, I wanted to create a piece that was based on being followed. A main source of inspiration to my work was Sophie Calle and in particular her photo stalker series. Upon reading more into the subject I found out that the statics of a woman being followed is 16.2% compared to a man the statics are 5.2%. I wanted base this project through a female lens to raise awareness of the issues surrounding stalking of women in the UK. In this short film I want to give people a feel of what it’s actually like to be followed without knowing.
