Mitten

When creating this documentary piece, I had one word in mind, sentimental. This project was to be personal and so I photographed the community that makes Rochester High Street. I worked with eight businesses and captured portraits of them to align with some documentary shots establishing what these businesses entail. I chose this piece because I have lived here all my life and have never gotten to know about what makes up my local town and so I wanted to empower these businesses that are so closely located to me by presenting them in a positive way with the friendly personas that they all display.
