Chloe Penny’s work has been majorly influenced for many years by her adoration for high contrast, black and white photography. For this body of work set in Brighton, she has created a photo poetry book focusing on how the story within an image can be seen differently alongside a piece of text such as a poem. She has focused on the idea of using sunlight to create harsh shadows and silhouettes which is a common theme throughout her previous work. The inspiration for this piece of work specifically was her love for landscape and environment photography.
