My name is Leila Abouzia and I am a Fashion photography student based in London.

The piece I will be presenting is my Fashion Photobook. My work references on creating this piece was mainly researching into how the industry of fashion has very limited opportunities for the black community. My work references main on showing that people can be beautiful no matter what colour, sexuality or religion they are.
The process and making of my photobook were challenging and interesting at the same time. The photographs included were all shot in a studio and I was pleased with the outcome. After finalizing my photographs I decided to title this photobook “The Progress” because it was the first word that came to my mind when thinking that the upcoming generation could show a great change into the industry.
