Bones

Rachel Bones is a fashion photographer from Suffolk. Starting photography at A-level, it became more than a hobby, homing skills and practice. During her gap year, she entered the county wide Anna Airy award, in which she was highly commended for her work. Whilst studying at UCA, she has explored a variety of processes such as film, collage and analogue photography.

Her work has a natural feel with predominantly shooting with natural lighting and using her cousin, Rosie, who is a model as a muse. For this ‘moving image’ project, she collaborated with fellow student Katy Charlton for fashion film ‘Paramour’. When creating this film, they were inspired by the story of infamous Bonnie and Clyde, exploring the role of dominance in the relationship through fashion.
