Katy Charlton is a fashion photographer currently in her second year studying BA(Hons) Fashion Photography at the University of Creative Arts. Katy’s style is diverse and variable with her projects ranging from the gritty urban street to exploring the world of high fashion. Her work is vibrant and modern. Her main focus in current projects are exploring more into this high fashion style looking into fashion editorials to gain inspiration and develop ideas from. In this exhibition Katy showcases a fashion film, which was created in collaboration with a fellow student Rachel Bones. The fashion film combines Rachel’s passionate love of the romantic style intertwined with Katy’s surreal fashion concepts, which perfectly complement each other resulting in a dramatic and striking finished piece inspired by a modernised Bonnie and Clyde.
