My work using miniatures is about the loss of my dad when I was six years old to cancer. I chose miniatures as to me they are symbolic of childhood and nostalgia. There is  the message of my wish to have my dad come back to see me. Also a fantasy element with the jellyfish, seahorses and fish for instance. In  some of the scenes as well there is a figure symbolising my mum, this shows the loss we felt. In this work I wanted to make something in memory of my dad to  remember him by.
